An employee has a statutory entitlement to just over 5 weeks' paid holidays per year although your Employment Contract could be more generous than this statutory minimum under the Working Time Regulations 1998. Remember that this applies to employees and not the self-employed but full-time, part-time, agency workers and casual workers are all covered.
