Employment grievances are always best dealt with at as early a stage as possible. You should discuss your concerns informally with your immediate line manager. It is in your manager’s and employer’s interests to resolve the legitimate concerns of employees in a positive way. Failing this, employers should have formal procedures to handle grievances that remain unresolved. Pursuing grievances formally should be a last resort but is something that we can assist employees with.
